This student-organized exhibition by the First-year Interest Group, Science History Detectives, examines human interactions with the natural world using objects from a number of campus collections, including the UW Zoological Museum, the L. R. Ingersoll Physics Museum, the UW Physics Lecture Demonstration Collection, and the Chazen Museum of Art. It reveals artists and scientists capturing, imagining, and transforming nature, and explores the versatile uses of glass for scientific discovery and artistic inspiration.
