Chazen Museum of Art


The UW Horn Choir will present their popular annual holiday concert at the Chazen Museum of Art on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. The ensemble of eighteen students—graduate and undergraduate—will perform music by Gabrieli, Mendelssohn, and more, plus music from some of the best-known film scores of our era. This festive event is free and open to the public. Mead Witter Lobby.

This will be Grabois’ sixth horn choir concert. Daniel Grabois, Assistant Professor of Horn, is a member of the faculty Wisconsin Brass Quintet, is the co-director of the new improvising electro-acoustic student ensemble $2 Broom, and is the Curator of the popular science-and-music series SoundWaves at the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery.
