Major 20th-Century Sculpture Collection Goes to Chazen Museum of Art

A major private collection of 20th-century sculpture has been donated to the Chazen Museum of Art, a gift from Terese and Alvin S. Lane, comprising more than 70 sculptures and 250 preparatory drawings by modernist artists.

Chazen Museum of Art South Entrance Closed for Plaza Reconstruction

The south entrance to the Chazen Museum of Art (from University Avenue) is now closed for construction and landscaping of the plaza. The north entrance remains open and the museum continues to operate regular public hours.

Chazen Museum to Unveil 86,000-square-foot Expansion in October 2011

The Chazen Museum of Art celebrates a major milestone in its expansion with the completion of the new building's external construction. The program will more than double the gallery space for the presentation of the collection as well as a dynamic roster of temporary exhibitions when it opens in October 2011.
