Laced Metal Pendants with Alison Lesniak -- Ages 16+

Join local jewelry artist Alison Lesniak in the studio to make one-of-a-kind wearable art! Inspired by samurai armor from the current exhibition Samurai: Way of the Warrior, participants will create a pendant by layering contrasting pieces of metal joined with cord lacing. A variety of color and texture options can be mixed and matched to create a unique wearable work of art. All experience levels welcome. All materials included!

Alison Lesniak is an independent jewelry artist and experienced art instructor. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she lives in Madison and teaches a variety of jewelry making workshops in the area.  Alison specializes in mixed media jewelry created with a combination of traditional and contemporary techniques.
