Thursday nights are family friendly at the Chazen Museum of Art this summer!
In the first decades of the twentieth century, Shozaburo Watanabe started his publishing business, hiring a new generation of artists and craftsmen to create Japanese prints in the time-honored tradition of Hokusai and Hiroshige.
From its beginnings, the printmaking department at the University of Wisconsin–Madison embraced social commitment. This group of prints is exhibited as part of Madison Reunion.
Organized by the Museo Stibbert and Contemporanea Progetti in Florence, Italy, the Chazen Museum of Art will host an exhibition Italian wedding chests, also known as cassoni.
